Upbeat Times Now a Registered
Trademark
UPT NEWS - As of Sept 30, 2008 Upbeat Times, an all positive news and
information newspaper distributed in Northern California to over 700 locations became an official internationally
registered trademark #3508016. The Upbeat Times found out January 2010 because of miss mailings to Upbeat's old
offices closed June 2008 near the Sonoma County California courthouses. While checking into the status of the
trademark for Upbeat, publisher Paul A. Doyle discoved through his legal team that indeed the concept of all
positive content and information, and "No bad news is..good news" concept had been approved and
registered.
"I am very excited that at the very same time I decided to re-launch Upbeat that
we became recognized as the only paper and media that really focusses on a clearly positive approach toward the
world around us with a international trademark. For 10 years I have developed a formula of good news, void of any
agendas, hidden causes, crusades, bad news and destruction and clearly focused on trying to better ourselves,
our friends, families and does this by literally bragging and running feature stories about those people who
make a positive impact on our daily lives. We do this by including clean jokes that appeal from the young to the
old, quotes meant to inspire, weird facts and fun meant to stimulate conversation and stories and written
contributions meant to inspire those who's lives who are in need of good news and a bit of hope that the world is a
good place to be and that a slight change of attitude toward the positive really helps. We have accomplished this
with flying colors", Paul says.
