Sigmond The Plant
Meet Sigmond, a cartoon strip about a plant. What makes Sigmond unusual is that he can move around and is
connected to the internet. The concept began in 1981 while doodling in high school.
Eventually Sigmond was first published in the Montgomery High School paper for the first time in 1981,
located in the heart of Sonoma County California, also the home of the famous Luther Burbank, the developer of the
rose and plums grown world wide.
The humorous concept of Sigmond was to draw cartoon strips directed at observing the human conditions and how
silly we can be. "Think Green" was first used by Simond in 1982 and grew from there. There are many other
characters that came from the strip and are slowly introduced in the series. I hope you like it as much as everyone
else has.
I also now have Sigmond T-Shirt available for purchase on-line (here)
