Upbeat Times Printing & Publishing to Return Fall of 2009

Sigmond: CERTIFIED GREEN: Earth's Green Mascot

After over a year off taking a sabatical from the publishing industry, I have begun several new ventures relating to the world of art, publishing and printing. I will now sell my art and design on printed goods and products as well as art prints. The whole focus is fun as was the theme for the Upbeat Times from 2000 to 2008.

My cartoon strip (Sigmond) about a plant that is the great observer of the human condition, along with all his other plant buddies who show the world what it's like to be a plant, trails, tribulations and of couse laughter will debut in the fall also.

I have also created a line of t-shirt of all sizes with Sigmond, who's main philosophy is to "Think Green", a concept I developed with associated strips back in 1979, way before the green movement, which is now an international phenomena.

Overall, the Return of the Upbeat Times is this web site. My following spans nearly 3 decades of creativity, positive communication, art and design and publishing in nearly all media.

It is my goal, and I feel like I am just getting started, to continue to bring a positive perspective to life and to people who didn't know that they had the ability to change their lives from a negative to a positive with a great deal of dicipline and practice.

Sigmond, the Upbeat Times cartoon about an intelligent, very green, venus fly trap, is the messager that will assist me in a world vision of positive philosophical communication in the humorous perpective of ourselves and how we treat ourselves and those around us in this fast moving technological planet we call earth.
